Gamma vs Pitch (2026): Per-File Themes or a Shared Template Library?

Gamma and Pitch compared on theme control, custom templates, custom fonts and PPTX export in 2026. Prices, plan gates and open fields come from the vendors' own pages.

Presentation Creator Panel Editorial team · data checked 2026-10-17 · method 2026.10

Verdict: Pitch is the stronger pick when a team must share one template library and custom fonts at a published euro price. Gamma is the stronger pick for one maker who wants a theme per deck, starts on a free plan, and does not need a shared library. Pitch scores 80.0 in the 2026 panel run and Gamma scores 73.5.

Only deck builders are compared on this page. The two tools handle brand control from opposite directions. Pitch keeps the template library at the team level. Gamma keeps the theme at the file level, then lets a finished theme be saved to the workspace. Both sets of pages were read on 2026-10-17. Gamma’s pricing page could only be read through a search-result copy, because the site returned a challenge page to automated fetching.

A cell that says “not stated” means the checked page did not give the figure. The panel treats the value as absent for scoring, and this table repeats the same rule.

Where Pitch has the edge

Pitch’s free plan already allows unlimited custom templates. For a team that wants a shared starting point, that matters more than any single theme setting. The Plus plan adds custom fonts and PPTX export with no added Pitch branding, which is what a client-facing deck usually needs. The Team plan adds up to 25 members in one plan, according to the pricing page, and the template library stays shared across them.

The library itself is documented. Pitch’s FAQ says a user can choose from over 150 templates, which places the library in the scored band for template count.

Where Gamma has the edge

Gamma’s theme editor is more flexible when each deck needs its own look. The help center says a theme controls colors, fonts, logos and styling, and that changes to a file theme affect only that file. A user can try a look on one deck without touching the others. Gamma’s free plan also includes 400 starter credits that do not refresh, and PPTX export is included, so a maker can test the workflow before paying.

Gamma’s Team plan at $20 per user per month adds a company theme. Pitch’s Team plan is priced in euros, so the two sets of seat prices are not directly comparable without a conversion, and the panel compares them only at the threshold level.

Buyer fit

What would change the result

Gamma’s Plus and Pro per-seat prices are not on the pages the panel read, so the price dimension for Gamma uses only the Team figure. If the Plus or Pro plan carried a brand feature at a published price under 15 dollars, Gamma’s entry-price score would rise. Pitch’s score would also move if the free plan gained a font or logo feature, which the pricing page does not currently show.

Evidence and method

Pitch numbers were taken from its pricing page and FAQ on 2026-10-17. Gamma numbers were taken from its pricing snippet, its Gamma for Business page and its help center, using search-result copies from that day. Where a Gamma figure is missing from those copies, the panel scores it as absent rather than filling it from a third-party site. The comparison covers themes, templates, fonts and file export only. It does not test output quality.
